Artist in Residence Program

The goal of the Artist in Residence Program (AiR) is multi-faceted and benefits a range of people and groups. Specifically, the Artist in Residence Program aims to:

While every arrangement in the AiR is suited to the talents of the resident, all cases seek to benefit both the church and the resident. In supporting the AiR, the church uses its various and unique resources to compensate musicians for their contributions. These resources include: the church as a performance venue; the church as rehearsal space; access to our pianos and Æolian-Skinner organ; access to our congregation as an audience; access to our publications for advertising; and, under special circumstances, a limited stipend.

As this program has organically evolved over the last 20 years it has included a range of musicians. In the future, we hope to broaden the scope of the program to include creative people from many disciplines!
